Anne:
"Find it all not so bad myself. I mean, no it wasn't super handy of me, okay I admit, but it teeks toetoetengo. Das English. Means there are two sides to every story. So that it's just how you look at it. Yes, I did something bad, but just to be clear, I did it for a reason. No, action, reaction. I mean, it's easy to make me the bad guy. But who actually started this?
Something has happened. Anne has done something that shouldn't have happened. Something bad.
And now she is sitting in the hospital waiting room, holding a helium balloon with 'sorry' written on it.
Being a team with your best is the coolest thing there is. Until you grow apart. Until you get disappointed in the other person? Or feel betrayed. Until that best one suddenly develops a worldview radically opposed to yours.
Until one day you get so angry that she does something she couldn't turn back. Not on purpose. It just happens.
Anne (11) says sorry anyway is about friendship, but also about how easily we form an image of someone - and how difficult it is when that image is no longer accurate. How small cracks can grow into a chasm. How sometimes you end up opposing each other without knowing exactly why.
A show taken from life, about clashes, misunderstandings and the moments when you don't know how to come together anymore. About friendship and about saying sorry - so that's pretty hard.
The show will be shown for the first time at Buro Bannink's presentation day on 19 January 2026 and bookable from September 2026 via Buro Bannink and Culture station.
