About Wildpark
Youth theatre collective Wildpark is the youth theatre company of Eindhoven. We make topical theatre as a spokesperson for positively maladjusted youth.
Our offer ranges from stimulating theatre performances with professional actors, to participatory workshops, inspiring education programmes and connecting context projects.
From our core values - freedom, personality and topicality - we create total experiences that inspire children, young people and creators. Our productions disrupt, confront, and incite action. For us, the audience is not a passive spectator, but a critical co-player.

Wildpark as a maker
We create (hyper) realistic performances in which we isolate a dramatic reality. The translation on the floor is an alienation or an extreme enlargement of that particular story. We draw from the small personal story and then enlarge. We elevate personal narratives to artistic narratives. And we shape this through an idiosyncratic visual language in which we often work in an interdisciplinary manner. Audio and video and live music play an important role in our work. As well as image. The image is associative. You don't see exactly where you are, in a house, on the street or any other literal location. The image reflects the perception of the characters. Space is the mirror of their soul. A reflection of the society in which they live. A platform for their message. We try not to fill in everything literally, but like to leave room for the viewer.
Based on our core values, we create total experiences ( productions - workshops and context programs) that let children, young people and professional makers tell stories. These core values are important in creating a place where children and young people can develop their authenticity and to contribute to a generation that dares to be open, cross and involved. Our core values are: freedom, personality and topicality.
